UrbanHydration.com is becoming our home for skincare, but that doesn’t mean all of your Hair + Bath favorites are gone.

Yes. I would update this substantially. The current FAQ still reads like the older Urban Hydration: hair/body language, “natural” claims, HBC as a four-phase system, lots of emojis, and claims like “no synthetics” and “no toxic chemicals.” Your new site should sound more skincare-focused, elevated, ingredient-conscious, and clear about what “derm-inspired” means.

What does “derm-inspired” mean?
We take inspiration from the ingredients and skincare approaches commonly discussed by dermatologists and make them easier to understand and simple to use in your everyday routine.
Our formulas pair recognizable skincare ingredients with plant-powered ingredients to support concerns like dryness, irritation, dark spots, uneven-looking skin and breakouts.
What ingredients does Urban Hydration use?
Our skincare combines plant-powered ingredients with familiar skincare actives selected for their role in hydration and healthier-looking skin.
Across our collections, you'll find ingredients such as Aloe Vera, Coconut Oil, Algae, Ceramides, Niacinamide and Hyaluronic Acid.
Each collection is designed with a specific skin need in mind, making it easier to choose a routine that works for you.
What does “plant-powered” mean?
Plants have been part of Urban Hydration since the beginning.
We use ingredients such as Aloe Vera, Coconut Oil and Algae alongside thoughtfully selected skincare ingredients to create formulas that hydrate, balance and care for your skin.
For us, plant-powered doesn't mean choosing plants instead of skincare science. It's about bringing the two together.
What is the HBC Way™?
The HBC Way™ is Urban Hydration's approach to creating skincare with hydration at the foundation.
It guides how we think about our formulas: supporting moisture, choosing ingredients intentionally and making effective skincare easier to understand and use.
Because at Urban Hydration, we believe healthy-looking skin starts with hydration.
What does “530+ ingredients intentionally left out” mean?
We're just as thoughtful about what we leave out as what we put in.
Our formulation standards exclude 530+ ingredients we have chosen not to formulate with as part of our approach to creating thoughtful, skin-conscious skincare.

Are Urban Hydration products fragrance-free?
We're moving our skincare toward fragrance-free formulas as part of our next chapter.
Because you may see both previous and updated formulas during our transition, we recommend checking the ingredient list on the individual product page or packaging for the most accurate information about your product.
Are Urban Hydration products sulfate-free?
Our updated skincare standards are designed without SLS, a cleansing ingredient we have chosen to leave out of our formulas.
For the most accurate information about a specific product, please review its ingredient list.
Does Urban Hydration test on animals?
Urban Hydration is cruelty-free. We do not test our finished products on animals.
How do I know which collection is right for my skin?
We've made it easier to shop based on what your skin needs.
Aloe Vera — Bright + Balance is designed for hydration, sensitivity and uneven-looking skin.
Coconut + Ceramides — Hydrate + Protect focuses on moisture and skin-barrier support.
Algae — Balance + Refresh offers lightweight hydration for oily and blemish-prone skin.
You can also shop by skin need to find products for dryness, irritation, dark spots, breakouts and skin-barrier support.
Can I use Urban Hydration products if I have sensitive skin?
Many of our skincare products are designed with sensitive-feeling skin in mind. Because everyone's skin is different, we recommend reviewing the ingredient list for the individual product and patch testing a new product before incorporating it fully into your routine.
How long can I keep my product after opening?
Look for the Period After Opening (PAO) symbol on your product packaging. It indicates how long that specific formula is recommended for use after opening.
Always follow the instructions on your individual product rather than applying one expiration period to every Urban Hydration formula.
How should I store my skincare?
Keep your products tightly closed and stored in a cool, dry place away from excessive heat and direct sunlight.
There is no need to refrigerate your Urban Hydration skincare unless the individual product instructions specifically tell you otherwise.

Shop directly at UrbanHydration.com and through our retail partners.
Urban Hydration skincare is available at Ulta Beauty and select locations and/or online through retailers including Target, and Macys.com and Nordstrom.com.

Why does my product look different from the picture online?
Urban Hydration is evolving.
We're introducing new packaging and updating select skincare formulas, so you may see previous and new packaging in stores and online during the transition.
If the packaging looks different, check the product name, size and UPC to confirm your item. When a formula has changed, we'll identify the update on the product page.
Are Urban Hydration's formulas changing?
Some are.
As we evolve our skincare, we're updating select formulas with ingredients such as Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid and Ceramides and moving our skincare toward fragrance-free formulations.
Other products may receive new packaging with the same formula. Check the individual product page for details about your product.
What happened to Urban Hydration hair and bath products?
Urban Hydration.com is now focused on skincare.
Select Urban Hydration hair and bath favorites may still be available through TikTok Shop and Amazon, while supplies and assortment availability vary.

How do I return a product?
We want you to feel confident shopping with us. Return eligibility depends on the condition of the product and when it was purchased.

When will I receive my refund?
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing time may vary depending on your bank or credit card provider.
My package is delayed or tracking hasn't updated. What should I do?
Shipping carriers sometimes experience delays or gaps between tracking scans.
If your tracking hasn't updated, first check the carrier's tracking page for the latest information. If your package remains delayed or you need additional help, contact our Customer Love Team and we'll help you review your order.
