After 17 years, we're building our next chapter — and we want to bring you along with us.
If you've been shopping Urban Hydration for years, you may start noticing that things look a little different around here.
That's because they are.
Over the next few weeks, Urban Hydration is transitioning to new packaging, updated skincare formulas and a new skincare-focused website experience.
We're incredibly excited about what's ahead. But we also know that change can be a little uncomfortable while it's happening.
For a short time, you may see our previous packaging and our new packaging at the same time. Some of your favorite products may temporarily be unavailable. And you may notice different parts of UrbanHydration.com changing from one visit to the next.
Please bear with a little dust while we build something beautiful.
We expect this transition to take no longer than approximately five weeks.
This Is More Than New Packaging
Yes, Urban Hydration is getting a beautiful new look.
But what's happening inside the bottle — and the thinking behind our skincare — matters even more to us.
Over the years, we've learned so much about hydration, sensitive skin and the concerns our customers bring to us.
Our next chapter brings together the plant-powered ingredients Urban Hydration has been known for with dermatologist-recommended skincare ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide and Ceramides.
We're also moving toward fragrance-free skincare and becoming even more thoughtful about what we put into our formulas and what we leave out.
Our focus is becoming clearer:

Healthier Skin. Inspired by Dermatology. Powered by Plants.
The Family Behind Urban Hydration Isn't Changing
Did Urban Hydration change ownership?
No. We're still us.
Urban Hydration is still proudly founder-led and family-owned by Psychelia and Vontoba Terry, the same husband-and-wife team who started Urban Hydration 17 years ago.
The new packaging, updated formulas, website and more focused skincare direction aren't the result of new ownership.
They're our vision for the next chapter of the company we built together.
We've learned a lot over 17 years — from our customers, our own family and the skincare industry — and we're using what we've learned to make Urban Hydration better and more focused.
The look is changing. Some of the formulas are changing. Our website is changing.
But the family behind Urban Hydration isn't.
Same family. Same heart. Clearer focus.
What You May Notice During the Transition
Why does some of the packaging look different?
We're transitioning from our previous packaging to our new Urban Hydration packaging.
For a short period, you may see both.
You may see an older package pictured online and receive our new packaging, or you may see our new look online while previous packaging is still being sold.
Both are authentic Urban Hydration products.
Because select formulas are also being updated, please refer to the ingredient list on the product you receive for the most current formula information.
Are the formulas changing too?
Some are.
Select skincare formulas are being updated with ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide and Ceramides as we continue evolving our approach to hydration and sensitive skin.
We're also moving toward fragrance-free skincare.
We'll clearly share ingredient information as each updated product becomes available.
Why is my favorite product sold out?
Don't worry.
As we transition, we're intentionally selling through some of our current inventory before introducing the new Urban Hydration.
That means some products may be temporarily unavailable during the next few weeks.
We're working to make the transition as quickly and smoothly as possible.
Where Did Hair + Bath Go?
You may have noticed another big change.
UrbanHydration.com is becoming our home for skincare.
After 17 years and many different Urban Hydration collections, we're becoming more focused on where we believe we can make the greatest difference.
That means you will no longer find our Hair + Bath collections for sale directly on UrbanHydration.com.
But some of your favorites aren't gone.
Select Urban Hydration Hair + Bath products are still available through Amazon and our TikTok Shop.

Our Website Is Changing Too
We're not just changing what's on the shelf.
We're rebuilding UrbanHydration.com to make it easier to understand what to use, why to use it and how to build a routine for your skin.
Throughout September and early October, you'll see new ways to shop, updated product pages, more ingredient education, information about skin concerns and a much clearer picture of who Urban Hydration is today.
You may even notice something change between one visit and the next.

When Will Everything Be Finished?
We're making the transition in stages throughout September and early October.
Our goal is to have the new UrbanHydration.com experience completed by early January 2027.
Until then, there may be a little dust.
